I have a two 6'+- flowering Artabotrys hexapetalus vines/shrubs which I'd like to trade for a fruiting Kumquat citrus tree and a fruiting Mandarin citrus tree.
These A.H. are hefty, mature, plants which I have in clay pots. One has flowered and seeded well. The second one is of the same age, so should flower and fruit shortly. They can be literally pulled out of the pots and planted immediately, with no damage to the roots.
The photo of the A.H.shows the size both plants. I've placed white towels on either side of the plant in order to show the growing width and height. Both are of the same size and age. One has flowered, the other of the same age, has not, as I mentioned above.
The citrus trees must be fruit bearing and healthy.
The A.H. flowers have a similar fragrance of the Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang tree) but more 'fruity' to my sense of smell. (The Cananga Odorata tree's flowers are used to make Chanel #5 perfume).
Propogation is either by seed, or air-layering. It takes 5-6+- years for them to bloom from seed, I've found. A faster way to have rooted, blooming shrubs, would be by 'air layering'. If the mother blooms, the air-layered daughter will bloom without having to wait for it to 'mature'. I've done this with an Artabotrys Siamiensis and many Brunfelsias, with great success.
Due to the size of the shrubs, both exchanges would have to be local ones. I'm located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

I have a small (18 inch) Satsuma orange and an two foot Avocodo tree. Sorry but thats all I have to offer. Can't hurt. :-)

Thanks for replying Tami. I have quite a few fruit trees but I'd like to find the Kumquat and Tangerine. In fact, I've just come from a nursery and seen a good sized Tangerine...very tempting, but I'd like to see if I can have a local trade for it first.
Id ask the nursery owner to trade. I have done it in the past with one of my local (family owned) nurserys. We have traded several plants. Hay its worth a try??

I understand totally.
