Hi ..
Had our 11yr old male pusser at the vets this morning as he has licked away a patch of fur on his right front leg .. from armpit to elbow :-(
No one is sure why .. doesn't seem to any sort of an injury .. so .. the vet put him on an antibiotic .. Clavamox .. AND .. Prednisone !!
As I am a nurse, I have seen the untowards reactions SOME of my patients have had to Prednisone. I am wondering if any of you in the forum have administered this drug to your pet and they may have gone just a 'tad squirrely' ??

PS .. the prednisone is to be taken over 4 days in descending dosages ..
