Thanks Dusty that's really useful

You are all most welcome...Mind you.. I do not go by the tropical moon so there will be differences...I add the signs for those of you who choose to use them...Native Americans did not know them...we only use the moon..

How long will hair cutting be god? I could do with a trim, but the hairdressers are closed on a sunday (and mostly on a monday too....)

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

The 17th through the 22nd and again the 30th and 31st.....

Whidbey Island, WA(Zone 7a)

Dusty, I have a lot of plants in pots that need to go into the ground - when would the next best time be for that? Some of them I may just have to take a chance as they're not going to survive in the pots.

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

From today through the 26th is good to transplant...

Whidbey Island, WA(Zone 7a)

Thank you so much - I even have today off!!

I need to do some planting too.....

Central, WI(Zone 4a)

I have plants to get in also, good to know it's the right time. Maybe it will be nice enough this weekend (not too hot).

Corpus Christi, TX

Dusty -- I have new plants that are to go in pots rather than the ground. Does that qualify as transplanting?!

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

Yes it does.. As GrandFather used to say .. Dirt is dirt.. no matter where you put it...

Some days are better for flowering plants than others , and some are better for green plants...especially house plants..

Central, WI(Zone 4a)

Dusty,
You are our wealth of information.

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

LOL .. I dunno bout that... I'm just an old Injun who learned from other Old Injuns, and I KNOW what works and what doesn't...We used to have over 1600 acres in my family Clan that needed to be planted and harvested to keep us alive...

We believe that the earth is our Mother... that is likely where the saying Mother Earth came to you non Indian people...When you do things to, for, or with the earth and you do it in the right cycles, with the moon, it works...That's all I know...It's just habit with me...we had no calender, so we counted the days, they were marked on a stick...We know there are 29 days from moon to moon...Today is the New Moon, and in 29 days there will be another...
Here is a Math question for you to ponder...If you are 73 Moons old...How old are you by the White mans calendar??

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

I'm hopeless at maths and probably miles out. I made it 5 years 9 and a half months.........?

Columbus, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh no... you ain't getting me to do math! That's what calculators and grandkids are for.

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

I think it's a trick question Dusty... but I'll guess around about 6 years old.

I think I remember the thread where someone got the wrong rose and gave it away, is that the rose you're talking about?

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

Columbus, OH(Zone 5b)
