Have: SPLASH OF BLUE tb iris.........

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

i have 2 med. sized rhizomes of this iris. i can't find a picture anywhere. riverview describes it as a rosy melon with a purplish blue blaze under the orange beard. i would just like another brightly colored named iris in exchange. lmk what you have.

ain't that pretty? lol. i have an awful time trying to find iris and daylilies in the plant files. thank you rox. how are you?

I am doing well. I love summer: the heat, humidity, gardening, fresh fruit...
I come from much warmer climates (NC and CA) and the adjustment to OH has been difficult.

That iris is a beauty. Some one should grab it quick!

our summer is a little different this year. rain almost every day. we haven't broken a 100 at all. shoot, we have barely broken the 90's. everything looked so good for a while but enough is enough. lol. every day i go to the iris beds i find another iris that is rotting. that is why i am finding iris here and there to trade. some of them are growing on top of each other and i have to move some of them to give the others better air circulation.

I might have to go dig many iris up.
They are on a hill, and the dirt tends to shift, and many now have their rhizomes covered by too much dirt.

I am not looking forward to it!
