Very nice, MsC! You know me... I like the AVs, but I love the episcias! That's a very pretty little bloomer ya got there! I've never seen or heard of 'Silver Emblem', but I like it! It looks like it would stay small... would make you a nice terrarium I think! ;-)

Hi There:
I noticed the episcia also & think it's silver skies, i have not herd of silver emblem.I could be wrong but i don't think so as i have been trying to get the mini episcia for some time now. i had it & it just up & died one day. still can't figure out why as it was doing so well. anyway your plants are adorable.

**blushing* well it's leaves are supposed to be a bit darker green, but MsC placed it a bit too close to the lights...Oops... it DID set blooms though :-}
The bloom color is a most odd color of red~black`~burgundy???

Yes, mrsbonnie,
I agree...my E.Silver Emblem is probable Silver Skies...but I got it with that name and so I just kept it...probable an error in labeling but whatcha gonna do??? Looks like it~ blooms Like it~~It is a wonderful lil plant and I have it in several terrariums...mostly cause I know it will be ok and I won't kill it there...you know me and my "gifted & talented watering" skills.

Thanks for sharing MsC, very pretty!! I wish my small "Silver" episcia would fill out like yours, it's a beauty. I do think I have finally started to see a stolon creeping out on it. Maybe I should trim on it to add to a piece to a terrarium and then the rest of it would kick into gear???

I finally, after many months, have a bloom open on my Pink Panther!!! So pretty and guess what? A yellow throat!! That was a nice surprise! Lots more buds on it too.....Can't wait.

I like all of them, but love the first!!!!!!! Always partial to blues in lavender shades.......

(Zone 1)

Oh My .... E. 'Pink Panther' is a Beauty! I am really beginning to take a liking to Episcia's! Love the looks of Strep's but I am not having much luck with them .... they dry out too quickly and wilt. I've heard others say they are very forgiving and when you water them they will perk right back up, but I must have let the couple on the top shelf of one of my stands get too dry .... they look awful .... poor, pitiful looking Strep's.
