Finally..........

I put this sack feeder up eight days ago and the Finch just found it.

I am glad that they found it! They always do! My finches love my mesh/sack feeders. :)

Do you guys just refill those or buy the whole sack new when those run out? It seems silly for me to buy a new sack everytime but I didn't know if the thistle stuff would dry up if I bought a whole bag. It takes a while for them to go thorough a mesh sack full.
Aren't the goldfinches pretty right now? Like a mustard gold, they're so vibrant. And they sing so sweet!

You can use old nylon stockings too. Just put a few tiny holes in them.

Thanks pelletory I will try that! I do reuse my mesh thing when it gets old I buy a new one. Yes they are pretty right now! Very bright indeed!
