What is this plant?

Williamsburg, MI(Zone 4b)

I know this is some kind of angel's trumpet, but that's it. I bought it years ago as a "moonflower", it's not what I thought a moonflower is, the ones I remember were vines. Anyway, this thing was supposed to be an anual in this zone, but has come back year after year and spreads by seeds and big running roots. It's pretty and does bloom at night, but not what I thought it would be.

Also if any one knows about blueberry plants, I have one that the leaves are starting to get kind of yellow. I fertalize with chicken and bunny poop.Could that have something to do with it?

It's raining. Thank God!

That looks like some kind of datura to me. Does it get seedpods that are round and prickley?

Also, here is a pretty good link on growing blueberries in Michigan. Maybe you can get a hint from it at what's going wrong with your plants. Often yellow leaves can indicate either an over watering situation or under watering situation or lack of iron. They like really acid soil I know so soil prep is very important before planting. Good luck. I planted blueberries for the first time this year. They are still small but look healthy so far.

leaves on blueberry plants turn yellow when the soil isn't acidic enough (well that is the most common cause I've found). Yellowing in most plants generally means either a lack of iron or could be indicitive of a watering problem. In blueberries, however, the most common cause is (a lack of) soil acidity.

When my plants do that I pour about 1 - 1 1/2 cups of hollytone around the base of the plant (depending upon the size) to acidify the soil and fertilize the plant.

Thanks, yes, it has the daturas prickly seed pod and I will add some acid to my blueberries, though I noticed that after the rain it looks much better. It seems that no matter how much you water, it's not the same as rain.
