Daily Moon Calendar for July 9th

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

Today the moon is in the waning Crescent...with Aries present..Aries- A fire sign. Barren and dry. Harvest root crops and fruit for storage or canning... Cultivate, destroy weeds and pests.
Today is good for working with fruits, which includes tomatoes and tomato plants...

The first 8 hours after midnight tonight the moon will still have Aries present with Taurus rising...
Taurus- An earth sign. Productive and moist. Second best for planting and transplanting. Good for root crops and potatoes, especially when hardiness is important. Also a good sign for leafy vegetables such as lettuce, cabbage and spinach. After 8 am Tuesday would be best to sow your next crop of lettuce etc. If you have anything in pots, waiting to go in the ground between 8 am Tuesday and 9 pm Thursday is the time to do it..

Thank you....was just wondering if it's safe to plant seeds yet....I can do it tomorrow then.. :))

I'd read a Daily Moon Calendar posting.:) This looks very interesting to me. If for no other reason than it gives me a break on always weeding. :)

LOL Tinker.

I should be out planting the very last WS container [about 200-300 huskers red] ... but i'm procrastinating -- and the day's almost over.
