bug files needs cat pics: Hummingbird Moth (Hemaris thysbe)

Hi kids,

I need some information on this moth because I've seen him or her around lately. I wondered what the cats look like and bug files sure could use some photos! I wondered where she would lay her eggs and what the cats look like. I'm going to butterflies&moths.org now, but thought it was a common enough moth that bug files should have some egg & cat pics, too.

I just hatch some eggs and still don't know what they are. I'm in zone 8 do you have any pics here is a pic of the eggs before they hatch. I found them on my Buudia (I don't think I spelled that right)

I have them in a jar because I do not know what they are yet. The egg pic was taken on 18th of june this is a pic that was taken on the 7th of july. I have been tacking the pics every 7 days

Hey, thanks, Deb. The butterflies&moths.org didn't have any cat photos, but I did find out what their hosts were, so it wasn't a total loss. I have seen some of those caterpillars around here in year's past, but I sure don't remember what I saw them on!
