and what is wrong with this one... It has curled leaves in adiition to the "water damage"

Note the leaves on the ground and the worst one besides the ones that already lost ALL their leaves. These were all in standing water during our "flood"

OMG I may be totally out to lunch on this one, but I'd dig them up and put them somewhere more safe and friendly. To me, it looks like they were attacked by slugs then almost drowned! Poor things!

No slugs... Leaves turned yellow due too the rain and it is a new bed which is supposed to have good drainage but after days of rain there was no where for it to go... anyway they didn't look too bad till the sun all of a sudden came out after days of no sun and shocked them. They were droopy that AM but perked back up. at least most of them did. But they have had more yellow leaves each day. Also I could not feed them because I have been using the MG liquid applied with the hose and I darn sure couldn't water them! LOL So now I have put MG all purpose food granules (shake and feed) today... I hope it is not too late. Do they die from this type of treatment??? I would have never abusaed them like this!!! This is the fault of the weather... I have about 50 brugs and almost all of them have buds now! I hope they dont drop off!

On a happier note..Brugs in not such a flooded area are ready to bloom

I share your pain!! But at least yours are hanging on to their buds :) Mine are bare but they looks like they will recover.

Do you mean they lost all of their leaves? Is this also from the rain?

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

Yep, the same theing happned as you said they were in standing water then the blazing sun came out and all the leaves wilted. It looked as if green rags were hanging from the limbs. Today more sun and what was left of the leaves wilted back down again then fell in a nice little pile on the ground. Some of the newer growth is a bit rubbery but I hope it will be ok. There was only one bed where the damage was that bad. My other beds are ok just alot of yellow leaves. Here is the last pic I took of them.
