I think that's a Bordered Patch.

Yep, a gorgeous little Bordered Patch. If you have sunflowers in your yard you might try looking them over for eggs or caterpillars :o) The eggs are yellow and laid in clusters. The cats are gregarious and stay together...even when they go into the chrysalis stage they tend to cozy up to one another.
