I need to relocate some daffodils. Do I need to wait until the tops die? Do I need to let them dry before replanting? What is the best way to go about this?
Thanks for any input

Daffodil bulbs
You can move them any time, but if the tops are still green you will have to keep soil on the roots, and keep them well watered in their new location until the tops begin to turn brown. One advantage to moving them while they still have leaves is that you know where the bulbs are, and can avoid slicing them with the spade or impaling them on the fork when digging them up!
Good advice above. By now your tops should be just about brown aren't they? Hope you got them moved successfully.

The tops are still a bit faded green. Haven't moved then yet. was going to thurs or fri but got rained out. Then the sun came out and all these weeds jumped up. Going golfing tomorrow but tues they will be moved.
