Great silhouette photo!

I had feral peacocks living around a cottage I was renting on the Central California coast ~20 yrs ago. I looked out my back window at some "blowing leaves" and suddenly realized I was looking at about a dozen peachicks taking a sand bath.
The adults would cluster on the flat roof and hand out near the heater vent pipe.

One day I saw a few of the adults sitting on a fir branch. Then another one flew up to join, and another, and another, and another......eventually the weight of all those big birds sitting on one limb caused it to droop and they all slid off. LOL!

The neighbors across the way had four guinea fowl that would come over and battle with the peafowl. One guinea would jump onto the peacocks long tail to slow it down and another guinea would put its head down and ram the peacocks chest with its top horn. The guineas were just getting even. The peacocks and peahens were always chasing the guinea fowl away from food.
