Sanguinea looks orange

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

My red Sanguinea looks more of an orange colour this year. (??)

I wonder why.

Someone told me that it could be the time of the year that it's bloomed.... which makes sense. My red sang bloomed in mid August last year and this one bloomed early July.

Linda explained that it could be a number of things... and I'm good with that explanation.

So.... orange-ish it is this year... so far, anyways.

I try to understand brug's culture. Wondering why they bloom early up North. And very late down South?

Lily, I'd think that it would depend on when you planted it and if it was from seed or cutting. This one was a cutting and I started it in January. I have flower buds on other cuttings, but my seedlings are much further behind.

Teresa, partially the reason(s), I've several in the ground. But only the one in Pot shows some buds. None in the ground does.
