DOH!!!!! Thank-you. Used to be when you'd search a member you just had to have a touch of their user ID and it'd bring up whomever had those letters similar...was hoping plantscout was the same.

THANK YOU Crowellli!

If the propogation methods for the mandEvilla ;) are such:

Propagation Methods:
By dividing the rootball
From softwood cuttings
By simple layering

Does anyone know how to do the last two???? I think root hormone and some good dirt would work for #2??? Simple layering???

To make a simple layering you take a branch from the plant and leave it attached to the plant, don't cut it off the plant.
At about the fourth node from the tip of the branch remove the leaves from the node and very carefully scrape it a little on the underside that will be touching the soil.
Set that part of the plant in a soil depression and pin it down with a wire, put soil over that part and let the tip of the branch remain above ground. Don't forget to keep it moist.
In about 6 weeks roots will have formed and you can remove your new plant after cutting the branch below the roots.
I hope that helps.
Josephine.
