I perform property inspections for the underwriting departments of insurance companies, and one of the most enjoyable parts of my job is seeing other gardener's work! I get so many ideas, and as I am already taking pictures as part of my job, I take lots of pictures of gardens so I can hopefully one day get my gardens looking like I want. Today, I got a double treat. Not only a very charming, "Old South" type of garden in Sylvania, GA, but new kitties to boot! You can't tell me animals don't know if you are a pet person. As soon as I stepped foot in this yard, (owners were not home), the mama cat greeted me like an old friend and then escorted me through the gardens, er, ah, yard of the house I was supposed to be photographing. Low and behold, on the back step I found waiting 4 precious little gray tabbies. They, too, weaved in and out of my feet while I tried (really I did) to do my work.
