Well lets see - I walked the dogs, I took one of the fosters to his new owners, I dug a big hole for a new rose in a place where I had let some Johnsons Blue geranium spread a bit too much - wow those are some roots! And then I planted the rose !
What is going on? My new Russian Olive is in place and so the space around it is available for planting - I have just been waiting for the tree to decide what to do. So in front ( on the sidewalk side) I have a Miss Kim Lilac and a Foxy pavement rose. On the other side I have a Rosea Rubrifolica(?sp - tag is outside!) There is also a Joe Pye ( Thank you Theresa/Violist) and a couple of plants to move into the space - a Spurge and a Lady's Mantle. The Lilac and the roses are my birthday gift to myself!
