Queen of the Night, Dutchman's Pipe Cactus, Night blooming Cereus (Epiphyllum ox

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9b)

parrotma32578,
That looks like a very healthy plant.
Except It doesn't appear to be a Cereus fernambucensis.
Cereus fernambucensis does not have leaves. There are many different species called 'Night Blooming Cereus', perhaps it's one on the other ones.
You could post the photo up in the 'Plant Identification' forum or the "Cacti & Succulents" forum to find out the identity.

You are absolutely correct! I did some research and came up with "Cereus Oxypetalum"--also known as Queen of the Night.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9b)

I agree with your new ID.
BTW-- Cereus oxypetalus is the old name, this plant has been reclassified as Epiphyllum oxypetalum now.
You can find it here on this page in the Plant Files:

This is definately an Epiphyllum, please email DG to have your photo moved to the correct Plant Files record to keep from confusing those of us who are easily confused.

Hello! Everyone out there. Today is a beautiful day. It's sunny and the temperature is 54 outside here in Minnesota.

Please help me, anyone! I have been looking to buy a large plant of "QUEEN OF THE NIGHT", Epiphyllum Oxypetalum. When the flower is fully open by mid-night. The fragrance is truly strong. The flower is huge about a dinner plate size "12 inches", the leave is very flat and wide. I'm looking to buy a large plant. If anyone have this plant to sell. Please contact me at 651-303-1087 and we can discuss more in detail. Thank you and God Bless

Epiphyllum oxypetalum
