This is the continuation of my previous post about my new butterfly garden. See the old post here:

The picture below was taken on May 11. I was part of the way through mulching the garden. The plants were still looking pretty small then.
Evolution of my butterfly garden (picture update!)
This was the picture I took of the garden today. Many flowers are blooming...tropical sage, milkweeds, wild petunia, and black-eyed susan. Several others are VERY close to blooming...ironweed, goldenrods, blazing stars, lyreleaf sage, golden aster, and royal silene. Its so exciting to watch!
I've got a coral honeysuckle a few feet from the butterfly garden, and I've seen a hummingbird on it twice in the last month! I had never seen one in my yard before, so it was pretty cool :) :) :)
That is awesome Passie. I have to admit I just started my garden within the last month and it just seems so slow. I have a lot of plants in a small space and then at the other end of the yard I have a few plants stretched out (hopeing they will grow pretty big) (Lantana, Butterfly Weed, Butterfly bush, Salvia). The effect you have achieved is basically what I want in the smaller area. Like a cottage garden full of BF loving plants.
Anyway, yours looks great after all of your hard work (I read the other thread). Congrats and hope you enjoy for many years to come.

What a wonderful use of that triangular space. You've outdone yourself! Way cool on being to view butterflies from any angle!!!

Looks great, Stephanie! Those butterflies will be flocking to your yard before you know it! Once most plants get their roots more established (including seedlings) they will take off with the above ground growth! And it usually happens suddenly!
Looks super-nice, passiflora07 .. and ya got a whole slew of wunnerful goodies for the flutterbyes!

You've got an instant border around your new butterfly garden too! Don't you just love seeing a plan come to true.
