Astrophytum
Astrophytum capricorne var. senilis
blooming in July, southern California, CSSA show, los Angeles
Astrophytum (Astrophytum capricorne var. senilis)
Bob, this is an impressive specimen, but not the var. niveum. Spines are by far too many and too thin.
It might be a nude capricorne or senilis.
Jordi
if you had to guess, which would it be... or should I dispose of the photo?
I would put it under Astr. capricorne var. senilis.
Jordi
The photo has been moved. Thanks!
