i live in torquay in england and yesterday my girlfriend was cleaning the kitchen she moved the fridge and underneth was loads of orange things and black things from looking at ur pic now its the same as in ur pic the orange ones were dead and the black ones jump about then we found more in the living room and behined the cooker but there was loads of them i havent got a pic on my phone but my girlfriend has can these things course any harm to my 2 kids and we found them inside not outside can u help me atal ?????

The land hopper I photographed is an Australian species and I believe there are no native land amphipods in England. Two Australian species have however been accidentally introduced in England, Arcitalitrus sylvaticus and the related Arcitalitrus dorrieni. If yours are indeed amphipods, they are certainly quite harmless feeding on decaying plant material,
