A huge unknow Rhizo type I love growing. This leaf is 14" from tip to tip.
Very nice begonias! Love that you can grow passing storm out of a terrarium (it seems to be happiest in a terrarium in our hot/dry climate)

Passing Storm loves it here. I leave all my begonias outside except for the winter months. I guess begonias love it when you can't step outside without getting wet from our high humidy!

I had a begonia that I thought was Sblover for years. Found out it was named after Ziesenhenne's wifes family Selover. Ziesenhenne was the worlds most famous begonia man. Our Begonia group in Santa Barbara is named after him.

Did you buy your crassicaulis from GHW? The crassicaulis I got from them looked exactly like that but it isn't really crassicaulis. It is a heavy duty begonia. Now I just call it the monster or sprawler. Before it got frost bit two years ago it probably sprawled between 6 and 8 foot long.
Here it was 3 years ago (a year before the frost damage) on a hot deck in full sun. As long as it got watered every day, it laughed at its conditions.

Corrected to say that I researched my records and I did not get this from Taylor Green Houses. Carolineafolia came from TGH. I got B. Crassicaulis from a Dave's Trader.

When that picture was taken it was in full sun from about 9 in the morning until 6 or 7 PM. The only shelter it got was from the top of the baker's rack.
I now have most of my bigger begonias in full sun up to 2 PM. Needless to say after I moved them outdoors, they did get burned but they've all responded very nice since then.

That Crassicaulis is beautiful! It is definately not the one I got. I'm correcting the name on my to say NOID! :-(

There is no picture of crassicaulis on this thread (but the link has one). I have a feeling you are talking about the oxalis embedded in one of my pots.
