brugs out in the rain

I'm going to follow Jeanne in Texas' advice and plant my brugs outside. (btw Jeanne if they fail, I know where Willis is, lol). I have heard and think it to be good advice to put them out in their space, while still in their pots to allow them to acclimate. That having been said we're in for our third rain/thunderstorm today. Do you think it a good idea to put them out in weather like this? Of course when I plant them there will likely be this kind of weather as well. What do y'all think?

If you were to ask me... I'd say, that's what they need to get used to, a little at a time would be good. I usually put mine out gradually.. then while still in their pots arranged in their final spot.. when they seem to be handling it.. In they go! That is what their environment is going to be, so they are gonna have to deal with it sooner or later.

k, I have a wheelchair ramp and dolly that I can get them down from the porch. I can always move them a few feet from their spot to under one of the trees if the sun becomes too much for them.
