Gordon, have you noticed with Snowbank, the leaves are much smaller than with other brugs, or is that just me?

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

My Snowbank gets big, thick, fuzzy leaves. Not as big as some, but same as or bigger than a lot of others.

I love Snowbanks leaves. So much variegation!! I just moved mine up to a 15 gallon, it has been so abused.

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Right now mine has big thick fuzzy leaves with swiss cheese holes from cat damage. :( I used BT for a few weeks now and the new growth looks great.. I just moved it up to a 5 gal. I LOVE her variegation.

edited for spelling...

Mine are thick and fuzzy now too, but small. Maybe too much sun? Hmm .... I'll have to move it around some and see if that makes a difference.

Somewhere I read Snowbanks does not do well in sun, so I've placed mine in filtered light. The older leaves are large, but I noticed this afternoon they have some brown edges, so I plan on taking them off tomorrow. I dislike any browning or yellowing of leaves, and remove them as soon as possible. With this brug. I feel the flowers will be secondary to the beautiful leaves if and when it blooms.

I just took this pic tonight.. it's Jamie after quite a cutting back... I like how the pic turned out.. I really like this brug. It can take our sun quite well, blooms smell divine, no real problems at all. Oh yeah, blooms are lemon yellow.

Jamie is a pretty brug. and one I need to find to give to my friend Jamie. I have a nice sucker growing on Jamie's Monkey Business which I will give to her on her birthday, but I would like to also give the variegated. I had 4 variegated brugs. but gave away 3 to friends who came for a visit. We start serious construction around here in two weeks so I've given away some of the larger plants. The ones I sent off were 7 or 8 feet tall as I didn't want to deal with them when the nightmare begins. Lol. Friends were delighted as the variegated was their favorite.

Thank you Lucy! Here is a pic of one of her blooms, she smells great too.

Tussee I got Jamie off ebay. I got a couple of the other variegated brugs along with her... Axel Rose & Sunsport.

Ohhhh, that is pretty. : )

I've been fighting stupid spider mites for weeks. Sometimes I think I'm getting ahead of them, but no.....here they come again. I have 4 brugs, and it's the pink one the mites love.
Oh well.....
