Miss Emily MacKenzie The "Grand Opening!"

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

Wow, this bloom is huge!! 14 1/2 inches from the top of the calyx to the tendril!! She just started opening a bit ago, and I'm sure will start coloring up soon. The bloom is almost as tall as the plant. :)

Ok, it's a work night and I'm up late taking pictures of this beauty. She has darkened up and I'm sure in the morning will be even darker. So, anyway, here she is now....

She is so beautiful! I just haven't been able to root a cutting of her.
I just don't have good luck with winter cuttings. I guess I need to buy a rooted one and grow it through the summer.

Wow.. great pics. I love the color. Do tell about her fragrance! What a cute picture!

Thanks much!! She is gorgeous, and I feel spoiled, because all I had bloom last year were Isabella, Whiskers & EDW.

Unfortunately, she's not very fragrant. Either that or my nose isn't working, which is quite possible.
