Can someone steer me to some old threads on seed starting?

I don't want to rehash the info for all the brug pros here but I just found the seeds I was given and don't have any idea where to start. I don't mind taking the time to search but I don't think I did it properly:LOL: Page by page will take forever (in a quiet whisper--I don't know if ya'll know it but you've been talking about these plants for around 16 years and there are 335 pages of chat and info--eyes cutting right-eyes cutting left-making sure we weren't overheard:lol:). =)

I know Kell and others have posted photos of how they start seed. When I tried searching the forums above on the right hand corner of the window, I got a window that stated it was searching, but things never progressed beyond that. You might try contacting Dave or Terry and see what they advise.

Basically, some use rock wool, sterile potting soil, etc. in a small community container pressing the seed on the surface to make contact with the medium. Water lightly or start with moist medium. Place the container in a plastic baggie, seal and put the bag under plant lights, fluorescent lights or bright indirect lights. Keep the bag closed until all or most of the seed have germinated and grown at least the first set of true leaves. You can then prick the seedlings out and pot individually in small pots or cups. You can peel the cork off or leave it on.

I've used the Park starting plugs, but have never gotten 100% germination except with the B. sanguinea. I peel the seeds because I've killed some accidently by trying to remove the stuck cork. I've killed seeds when I soak the seed before peeling. So now I peel the dry cork.
