CLOSED: HAVE: Pink/salmony brugmansia seeds (10 trades)

Edinburg, TX

Please send me D-mail if you are interested in trading - put PINK BRUG in your subject line
I was able to harvest some seeds from my pink/salmon brugmansia...don't know what the name...but it blooms a lovely peachy pink...and blooms profusely.

Am looking for butterfly and moth friendly flower seeds that are either a good nectar source or larval host. A mixed batch of seeds is fine...and will gladly take any of your old seeds and stuff you want to get rid of...as I will be mixing everything I get together and tossing them out in the back pastures at the ranch. I live in zone 9 so if they are drought resistant that would be better.

Anything like purple cone flower, monarda, zinnias, joe pye weed, tithonia, flax, lupines, snapdragons, salvia etc. would be appreciated.

No mexican hats or gallairda - the back fields are already filled with those.

* * There will be 15 pink brugmansia seeds sent per trade. Will let you decide how many butterfly/moth friendly seeds you wish to send in trade * *

Please send me d-mail if you wish to trade. Please put PINK brug in your subject line.

Am posting photos of the blooms.

sent my butterfly seeds this afternoon - those poor post office employees - what with new rules and no air conditioning in a building not designed for alternatives, I think there should be a sign for customers on the entrance saying, "no manners, no service"

True! Sometimes a bit of kindness can really improve the service one receives - but even if it doesn't, working in the post office must be irksome at times, and the rest of us might show a bit of patience.

Just letting everyone know all the seeds have been shipped out...except for Pam...will get those out on Thursday.

I used to work for the USPS years ago and know most of the folks that are working the counters...and alas, I am a regular there! They do get busy...and of course there's always a few in line that don't have their poop together. Grrrrr to that!

Good thing though, our post office has a kiosk that is available 24/7 so that does help when mailing packages but dratted kiosk wouldn't pick up the weight on ya'll's envelopes - they were too light for that big scale! :o) I had to ship out later than expected and used double stamps instead.

Oh well, either way you look at it...you can't beat being able to send something clear across the country for under a buck! When folks out here start whining about the price of postage I tell them to take it 2000 miles themselves :o)
