I harvested gobs of seeds from my white brugmansia...don't know what the name...but it blooms white...and blooms profusely.
Am looking for butterfly and moth friendly flower seeds that are either a good nectar source or larval host. A mixed batch of seeds is fine...and will gladly take any of your old seeds and stuff you want to get rid of...as I will be mixing everything I get together and tossing them out in the back pastures at the ranch. I live in zone 9 so if they are drouht resistant that would be better.
Anything like purple cone flower, monarda, zinnias, joe pye weed, tithonia, flax, lupines, snapdragons, salvia etc. would be appreciated. No mexican hats or gallairda - the back fields are already filled with those.
* * There will be 50 white brugmansia seeds sent per trade. Will let you decide how many butterfly/moth friendly seeds you wish to send in trade * *
Please send me d-mail if you wish to trade. I am on the address exchange so if you wish to send a trade first make sure you put a note in your envelope to remind me it's for the white brugmansia seeds.
Am posting photos of the blooms, the seeds and some seedlings from seeds I planted June 1, 2007.
