A while back I picked up a nice little 30 page booklet called "Snakes of SC and GA". It was put out by the UGA Savannah River Lab. Lots of good pictures.

I found it at that aquarium in Savannah, out toward The Landings; I forget the name of the place but it is a good place to take the kids when it is too hot to do anything else.

Have you ever visited that herpetarium on Edisto, Ardesia? Neat place.

LOL, I tend to keep my distance from snakes.

You're well distanced from the slithery things at the herpetarium, Ardesia, but it is a source of REAL information on the things... Lot of "good guys" out there. Can't paint them with the same brush we use for the bad guys...

Their main page has typo (redirects to wrong URL -- has a comma at end)
