Why? Question on Rob's Violets
Maybe the same reason i took over 5 avs that were 12" across...........the leaves weren't that healthy any more.........I took nothing but 3 leaves in the center, cut the root off the bottom (not to the neck at all) and buried the neck in a new pot.......won't take long to have beautiful plants again.....
I don't know who you are ordering from...........but I love rob's small plants.......so perfect to work with.......and train..........
If you are interested in ordering, I'd email before I placed my order . I'd think the best place to get the answer is to ask them....I think they're website says they answer all emails....eventually???

No, GH, sorry..........I did receive an awesome order from Rob about two weeks ago and the plant material was the very best I have ever gotten........
I found all these minis in an African Violet nursery when i went to visit my granddaughters in Camp in kerrville, Texas...........
Rob is the only one who answers the phone during office hours of 12-4 five days a week......

Sandi, you maybe right I probable got that info backwards but I'd definitely check with them to see if they will state any further what the problem was....
