Strong and powerful, a crawler
Philodendron Renauxii
Lovely, Armando. Are the leaf edges a darker color, or just a shadow?

Cicada,
Shirley, just a shadow.
Armando
Armando, do you know about the parentage? You've a lovely plant!
GH
GROWHAPPY,
This is a specie. not a hybrid. ( P. RENAUXII )
Armando.
Okay....thank you!!!
Very Nice Armando! I don't think I've ever heard of a Philo that is a crawling type ... that's pretty cool! Will you be planting it in the ground or leaving it in a container? Would be really nice crawling along the ground. Would it climb also, if given a trellis?
How many Philo's do you have in your collection?! I bet it's a very high number! You live in an area that is perfect for them! My dream is to have a house that all the regular rooms are built around a really huge glass central Atrium like room that I could fill with Philo's and other plants! Aaaaah ... isn't it nice to dream!
Dreams do come true!!!

hee hee ... Yeah, if I win the lotto! Hubby keeps telling me that my chances are slim to none but I still buy a ticket once in awhile! Hey .... someone has to win, don't I have just as good a chance as anyone else? NOT! Some folks buy hundreds of tickets when the jackpot is high ... most I've ever spent is $5.00. And, that's only every once in a blue moon ..... I always forget to buy them!!!
Plantladylin,
My collection is up to 112 between species and hybrids, plus about 10 with
no ID.
I keep most of my plants in pots, so I can bring them in when we get hurricanes,
plus is easier to give them the proper space in case they are not happy in one spot.
Armando.
Great idea Armando! I never thought about the probability of Hurricanes! After the three Canes' we had in 2004 (Charley, Frances & Jeanne) our yard was total shambles ..... lost a lot of trees. We were blessed that we had absolutely no damage to the house and my husband and I and our 5 cats were okay .... but Hurricane's are Scary indeed! I hope everyone is spared any intense storms this season!
