Well I just put in my Japanese garden yesterday...what a job, the only thing I need now is a bonsi tree, which will be one of the major buy's......I still have to finish the waterfall and add some mosses and I want to put in some succluents, i have one hen and chicks, does anyone have any sugguestions on a good bonsi something that will change color with the season maybe? and some other plants that would be a good addition, because you know of course this whole thing was a whim, I'll probably realize later I should have done it different but I think I'm a little OCD..lololol...or is ADD...hummm I;m not sure..lolol , but it sure was fun!!!! :)
ADDED A JAPANESE GARDEN
Very nice!
Hi mysticsunshine. I love it!!! Of course IMHO a red or green Japanese Maple bonsai would be perfect. The color would pop and the leaf tecture would add that soft wimsy to flutter in the breeze.
Jeri
wow! Thanks jeri, I'll look into that one and see I can find it? That would be a good choice to because I have a japanese maple over my pond which is next to this little garden....I was also thinking of some kind of elm, would that be a good choice for outside?
Dee
I have an elm tree and it is leaving seedlings everywhere. Every flower bed and alot of my flower pots. The only thing weedier(is that a word) is a popcorn tree but I like their color in the fall.
