Now I remember why I spent so much time taking care of these guys this winter!! I'd forgotten how much I love the smell of Whiskers and the blooms and gorgeous leaves. :)
My first bloom of the season Whiskers :)
Nice...I love the fragrance of Whiskers. Maybe I'm off the mark here, but it seems to my smeller that the yellow brugs smell the best. Maybe that's because I don't have a lot and it's wishful thinking. LOL!
You may be on to something! With the huge flushes Isabella gave me last year, and the two blooms I got on EDW, I did notice that Whiskers was by far the most fragrant of the three that bloomed for me. I'll have to pay attention when my other yellows -- Day Break, Jean Pasko and Dr. Seuss blooms this year.
Looking good, I finally have 2 where the leaves are showing the sign that buds will arrive soon, and we got 1 tenth of an inch of rain didn't even see it, but we are expecting rain tomorrow.
Gosh Doris, you are really in trouble, aren't you. We will be having rain today and tonight, if the weatherman is right, so maybe this storm will move your way and help you out.
Doris, you didn't get any rain on Sunday? I know you have got to be suffering with all the heat and sun. We were lucky and had rain almost all day on Sunday, so that helped a bit, that's for sure. I certainly hope that you get some of Shirley's rain!!
What a cute picture! I just chopped Whiskers way back cause it had such severe cat damage, I was ready to take it out completely.. but now I'm glad I kept her.. I'm such a sucker for fragrance.
indiana_lily NO we didn't get any, I saw where most of the East and North Indy were getting it, we were at the lake all day fishing, they didn't bite, too hot.
Brugie I hope we get it tomorrow I don't remember when we went this long without rain, it is so hot and muggy, I guess when we do get it.it will be a flood type
Its so very lovely..
