Well, I didnt say anything for fear of jinxing the hatch. Ive had such a bad year with my hens and their eggs so I figured Id just wait and see what happened! About 30 days ago she went broody and started laying! I gave her a couple of eggs from the other girls and just hoped for the best! Well today we have a little knotty headed silkie (so I think its a rooster) and a tee-tiny little BB bantam. there are two more eggs trying to get here.
I took the pictures really quick so as not to upset mama!

Heres Miss Purdy's little brrod this morning! they are hard to see cause they are the same color as the straw! Her Two Silkie babies and LittleBB from this hatch and the Silkie from another Mama that hatched two weeks ago! so far everything is great!

They are so cute, congrats on your babys. One of my silkie babys is the same color as yours and I don't know where that color came from. I'll get a picture. Not sure if she's a girl or not, DH thinks its a he. I'll know soon I guess.
