These are beautiful pics adel!! I know what you mean about the Jays; I have way too many Blue Jays here hogging the feeders and scaring off the nice smaller birds.

I can't imagine having something that beautiful come for dinner in my yard! I'd have to keep feeding the peacock regardless the cost! Where did he come from?

When we first moved here, (a little over three years ago) nine of them, (mostly females) would come through the yard on rare occasions. For the last year or so he has been all alone. We used to here them calling to each other in the evenings, but now we just here the one. We've been told that our neighbor (about 1/4 mile away) owned them. He has just started coming in every evening.
