I don't know anything about pollinating plants, but Wow ... a Reddish/Pink Diffenbachia would be Gorgeous!

They are two totally different species, so I wouldn't think so! But, mine is also putting out seed pods....I have it next to a bird's nest fern - who's to say if those spores and pods might not mix????? Seriously though - I really don't think so.

You can pollinate it, but I predict nothing will happen.

There are almost no hybrids recorded in Araceae between different genera, and Caladium and Dieffenbachia are not closely related enough for me to think there was any reason why it would be successful.

No harm in trying though!!
