I'm trying to ID some hoyas. I would appreciate any help.
#1 Has pink spots.
Need help with ID please!!!
#1 looks a lot like the leaves on my H. Obovota. #2 I can't really tell, & #3 looks like a type of Carnosa.
#3,4 &5 are Carnosa's. There are a lot of varities of this one out there.
pdoyle thanks so much. I'll try to get a better picture of #2 tomorrow. It's too dark now. Did you get a chance to see #4. This pot looks like it has 3 or 4 different hoyas to me. But I don't know.
Jeri
WOW they really look different. Thanks again now I can label them correctly.
I'm by no means an expert on these but I think #4 is all the H. Carnosa. Now whether you have the same plant or different types of H. Carnosa, I'm not sure. i would guess and say it's all the same plant, hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along shortly and give us both a lesson.
One looks like Hoya obovata - someone a few months back said there was a new one with pink in it, but then I have heard they can get that way in high light.
Not sure about 2, maybe one of those carnosa cultivars like Krinkles or Dimples or some such name....
Number 3 - Hoya carnosa variegated- Rubra (yes, it is 1 plant!)
aka Krimson Princess
Number 4 - Hoya carnosa variegeted- Tricolor
aka Krimson Queen
Thank you Bhavana34. I appreciate the ID"s.
Jeri
Thanks Christine I 've heard everyone talking about carnosa and even wanted one. Now I have 3 and they are all different. I'm very surprised.
Jeri
I think I'm on the same page as everyone:
1. Hoya obovata
2. Hoya carnosa 'Krinkle 8'
3. Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen'
4. Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Princess'
oops, I think I had 3 and 4 mixed up - everyone else has it correct though...sorry
Thank yall for the confirmation I really appreciate you taking the time to help.

Jeri...beautiful plants!!!
I think it is wonderful to be able to see pictures of plants posted here!!! Not only on this thread but on the whole forum....don't you? It really helps to understand how plants grow, the different leaf forms, plant growth and the variations of flowers. I think posting photos of plants is an important aspect of an informative forum...we can verify IDs, get IDs, illustrate a point...yes, and show how proud we are!!!
I love the abilility to post pictures without the fear of someone dumping on our parade....
Good growing, Jeri....
Carol
