Brugmansia sanguinea Cuttings

Silverado, CA(Zone 9b)

CLOSED - all cuttings accounted for.

Its been awhile since I posted on this board - I have to be honest - I am a bit nervous. Last time it became a heated discussion.

I am a recently addicted Brugmansia lover.

I had purchased a Brugmansia sanguinea approximately 2 - 3 years ago. I just had to cut off two branches because they were twisting and turning (very strange). It bloomed for me for the first time this year - one flower.

This is the first time that I have cut a brug. I have 2 "y" cuttings and three straight cuttings that I put in water. I dont beleive this one is patented because I purchased it on eBay.

If anyone is interested in a trade I would LOVE it. I lost most of all my cuttings that people sent me due to the unusual frost we had over the winter. Right now I have a no-name offwhite (its on its second flush already :) and two other unknowns that havent bloomed yet (and are being eaten to death - I just learned and put down diamateous earth to hopefully kill whatever is eating the leaves).

I prefer part-shade to full-shade since I never get full sun.

Just let me know if I am doing this right - and if anyone is interested.

Sherri;
I'm interested, I've a Plumeria that's white with yellow eye. Unknown name, the only single cutting was potted this winter, but no leave yet. Fair trade? D-mail me if you consider it.

Cambria, CA(Zone 10a)

jazmine, you've got d-mail.

Sherri,
The close up pic. makes the flowers appear larger, since you're new to plumeria. I'll see if I can find a more to life pic. for you in my file. I'll take a pic. of what the plant currently look like.

GORGEOUS - I am excited now. You might turn me into a a Plumeria addict too.

Careful, watch what you wish for. lol....
I find they're irristable. In your zone, you can have as many as you wish. My temp. is a little more challenging. So for my limited collection. I've pink, white, and red. Then I join AA meeting for plumies. lol.

Thank you, for posting the cuttings. Do I get to pick my own? I'd like very much to have one of the two on the left of your middle pic. If I may? Two would be great, I'll mail extra for postage.

I was hoping the photos would help.

Kim - Yes, you can have the two on the left.

That leaves the three on the right. Stellapathic was interested. I am not sure how many.

So I have either one or two left.

I am feeling guilty now (LOL). I will take another look at my plant to see if there are any other branches that could use a trim. You never know - it might help the plant to produce more flowers.

I'll let you know what happens.

Silverado, CA(Zone 9b)

I was able to get three more cuttings. They are not fully hard - but I believe they are hard enough to root. I have taken a photo for you to look at.......just let me know if you are still interested.
