That sure looks like Bengal Tiger to me!!!

Still waiting on mine to bloom. They are depressed because they have to live in the sand.

Hi just came upon this thread.
Can I put my canna in my little pond on a ledge maybe? How would I pot it. I have no fish just frogs, snake, etc..
Thanks,

Karen,

Yep, you can put your canna in a pond. Doesn't matter what lives in there. Just put the canna in a large pot and I would make a mix of soil and sand(sand to add some weight to it) Then set it down in the edge of the water. Watch it grow.

I gave all my cannas to some friends in S Florida when I was getting ready to move up here. For Happy1 we set all the cannas in the edge of her canal.

Thanks so much!
So I am understanding that Canna should be on a ledge. Would that be an inch of water above the pot edge?

The very nice thing about cannas, they can be naturalized in many different conditions. I have some adjusting to sand, heat and drought right now.

Yes, a ledge is good.
