Pics of the chicks, keets and poults

Woodsville, NH

Here are some, they love to hang out out front by the "screendoor" I made. Its mostly my turkeys, marans and silver sebrights. You can see a guinea and a red silkie. The mostly white silver sebright in the front is Blondie, she was so white when she hatched, I think she's beautiful. You can see part of the original pen I built for them before they learn to fly and land on the top rail of it. I am going to get a pic of one of poults doing the adult male pose, so funny, one month old and they have it down!

They love hanging by the door,They can look out into the driveway/yard. I did give them strawberries this weekend. We went strawberry picking and any squishy ones went to them and my parrots. I have given them an apple and some corn on the cob too. They LOVED them! and millet but only when I "call" them so they learn to come when I call them.
Its funny, they all sleep together in their old "holding" pen in the corner where I used to hang a heatlamp when it was really chilly at night. You couldn't see it, they have two one gallon waterers and a 50lb hanging feeder (full) that I am hanging next weekend. I am a lil paranoid about hanging it so I am hanging it but just above blocks of wood so nothing can get under it. I feed them like I do everything else I have (except the fish ofcourse) keep the food and water full and let them freely eat.
Waterers are another questions to post!

Your silver seabrights are beautiful, I have to get a picture of mine. They have a lot of white on them. Your coop is so nice and clean, you did a great job on it. I was wondering about adding my little banties with the bigger chicks, do they do alright together?

I am new at keeping fowl. Everyone gets along. I have found that I can pick up any of the marans easily, the silkies and sebrights are a little harder to, I think they are a little more high strung than then the regular sized chickens. And the turkey are so funny and so easy to get along with (makes Thanksgiving a little harder) So far I haven't run into any problems with the different sizes. I will find out about more as the get older. After watching them for hours, I have found that the bantams have no fear of bigger birds, my silkies chest butt everyone.
