I've never seen this flower on my many excursions in the Adirondacks in NY. Must e the time of year or the keener eye for something new that caught my attention. It's Pogodia ophioglossoides, an orchid. The picture, taken in it's natural invironment shows it growing
in a bog of Sphagnum Moss.
