Hi everyone,
I am going to the Outer Banks for the week of the 4th of July, I was wondering if there was anywhere I should look for to find asst. gessies, like a greenhouse or whatever? My DH will be thrilled :)

Hi Sandi,
The only major gesneriad grower I can think of in North Carolina is Bluebird Greenhouse. You will have to check if it's located within a reasonable distance for you to visit while on vacation. I haven't looked at a map. Being from NC, you would know. Maybe you have already been there.

Yes, I have been there and ordered several times as well. It is about three hours from my house.

Sandi... you could go to Go Gardening, and enter the ZIP code of the place you are going, and it should bring up nurseries in the area.
