Telosma Cordata. Very rare vine with the fragrance a mix of roses and violets. For Zones 10-11.
I'm not sure if this is where I should post this. All my Telosma Cordata seed pods have matured at the same time, so I have seeds galore.
Should anyone like to have this fragrant, magnificant vine growing in their tropical gardens, please dmail me then send a SASE. I don't want or need any exchanges. It would be nice to know that many people are enjoying the wafting fragrance of the little yellow flowers as they stroll around their garden.
An important note: as I have more than one seed give-away, please MAKE SURE that on the envelope thats addressed to ME, you write TELOSMA CORDATA, so I know which seeds to send. If the envelope addressed to me has no seed id on it, no seeds will be sent.
CLOSED: Telosma Cordata seeds for SASE. Violets+Roses fragrance.

:( Donna
Donna, I believe you are referring to the Telosma Cordata seeds, around the June date. There is a tick by your name plus a tick on the listing of Telosma Cordata under your name, which means these seeds were sent to you. As each envelope was received, so it was returned with the seeds enclosed. At present all envelopes sent to me for free seeds have been mailed out, other than the one below.
I have no clue as to which thread this person was responding to. I send seeds out fairly frequently, on different threads!
For someone who recently sent an envelopeto me with no reference as to what seeds were to have been sent to her, and no reference to any communication, other than her name and address written on a small piece of paper + 2 stamps, I'm afraid the envelope will NOT go out. Who knows what it was suppose to contain. Who knows what the Dave's Garden 'name' was used in reference to this request! Who knows what thread was involved!
Just a reminder to all, if the back of the envelope does not contain the names of the seeds to be sent, please dont be upset if you dont hear from me. I'm delighted to send seeds to those who'd enjoy growing them, but the requester has to be reasonable in communication! And please dont send cash for the stamps. I dont always have stamps on hand and dont fancy going to the post office unnecessarily! SASE and SABE mean the stamps are included in the mailing envelope, addressed to me!
Were you able to collect any more Artabotrys hexapetalus? I would still love to have some seed!
Thanks!
caren
Caren, I have just collected about a dozen ripe ones, which had fallen to the ground. So they are nice and ripe and very, very fresh. Send me a SABE with the name of the seed, (you know, ....the usual...etc, etc)! By any chance do you have a source for the Giant Burmese Honesuckle in your area? (Lonicera hildebrandia) I went to the vine I'd found in San Fran (Strawberry Point area) a couple of weeks ago, and it was absolutely filled with seeds....alas, all green! Sadly my DD is no gardener and the notion of her collecting them when they are ripe will be a fleeting dream on my part! :)
You have my mailing info. I'll keep some for you. They are large seeds as you can see.
I love you!!!!
Would a small box be better as we spoke of before or will a bubble enve do?
I will do some poking around for you Lonicera hildebrandia.
Caren
Caren, I think a little box would be ideal for 4 Artabotry Hexapetalus seeds. They are about approx 1"x1/2" oblong shaped. If you cant find an appropriately sized box, a bubble envelope will be ok as they are pretty sturdy.
Im getting a package ready it should be off today.
Thanks again!
Caren
