African violets out the door on Sunday mornings for the homebound.......don't know why i am posting, but just need to share with my DG friends...
African Violets going out in the morning
Gail: You are truly a kind, generous soul, I admire you for being such a caring person!
Those Beautiful Violets you are sharing will bring so much joy to the recipients!
They are just beautiful, gessiegail, and look so extra nice with the flourishes of ribbon. If any of your church members see this, they might become homebound in a hurry. Seriously though, so very thoughtful of you and a great way to cheer up someone's day.
You both know that it isn't all generosity.........I just can't grow this many flowers all the time.....the elderly ladies or even cancer patients who can no longer get out of the house get excited when they are brought to them at home or nursing home...
Gail ... You are an Angel. I truly believe that God put all these "extra" plants in your hands to bring joy to others!
these babies do grow fast from either a leaf or divisions............falling asleep....
Gessiegail,
this is such a kind and lovely thing to do. God bless you for sharing and thinking of others!
Very nice.Your going to make some ladies day a very happy one Gail.
Gail, you're so sweet to grow those plant to give to others to make them happy. :o) You'll be a blessing to someone (more like several someones) today!
This is why i can't give up growing standards....i keep saying I am not going to grow them, but i always need them for the homebound ladies......
If anyone has extra leaves to any avs.....just remember they don't have to be the best of what yu have.......i just have to keep leaves going all the time for this project......you can always send the biggest leaves on the plant as long as they are healthy.....would be fun instead of growing the same 15 all the time....
