I had a surprise when this bloomed. I might have gotten this from the Spring get together I had gone a couple of years ago. I luv it!

Here's mine! I don't know if it's Sulphur Queen or another cultivar but I love it. I just got it on June 2nd at our Ohio River Valley plant round up. Planted the bulb on Monday when I got home and VOILA! A tad over 3 weeks later this popped out....

Kim, I don't think yours is the Sulphur Queen but it is still purrrrty! It has a more yellow tinge like Shirley's. Great pic, Shirley!

Thanks, Donna. "Sulphur Queen" is a beautiful bulb. In hindsight, I should have grown it in a big container so that I could have over wintered it, instead of in my garden.
