More fuzz!!!

Guess what I got???

Yes... I admit it. Sometimes, I don't have the patience to wait on something for three years or more. Don't get me wrong! I appreciate the chance to grow many of these gessies from seed, and have truly enjoyed watching them... and I appreciate Key and Jan so much for sharing!

But... well, I just couldn't help myself! I bought a Sinn. Leucotricha on eBay! And it's here!!!

And closer...

It is a little crinkled up from shipping, but all in all, it's in great shape.

The only thing I can't tell is... if it has already bloomed, or is still yet to bloom.

What do you think Keyring? Has it already bloomed for the year, or do I still have a chance?

Cheater!! ROFL You know I'm just kidding! ;o) That's really pretty! I just checked my seedlings......they're not quite that big yet! Ha ha ha!!

I can't help you a bit with the bloom question. I hope it will bloom for you soon, though. Pictures, please, if it does. :o)

Congratulations on a lovely plant! :o)

Ah man!! Your running my good intentions to be patient and wait for my little seedlings to grow up! They're barely out of the dirt so I guess I just better be waiting on a second set of leaves right now. LOL!!

Love these pics and can't wait to see my own furry leaves some day!!

oops. I saw this thread while I was travelling but didn't have time to respond, and by the time I got home I'd forgotten about it.

Can't help you on the bloom-or-not Q though - your guess is as good as mine.

I'm gonna try something a little different. I noticed that I have several new sprouts coming out of the caudex on this plant... so I cut off all the older sets of leaves/stems. Then I fed it with one-quarter strength fertilizer.

The little sprouts...

And what it looks like now, after a trim.

Let's see what happens!
