Cutting of new seedling
Kyle, how could you almost miss that one!?
Love the colors, great hot pink eye zone.
Good thing you rooted a piece of that one.
Do you have the parent's names?
Dave
the pod parent was Sahara Wind..don't know the pollen parent :-(
Oh my colors! I love how they bloom on such little plants. A real plus!!!
I love those bright colors, and Kell I hate to be a copycat, but orange and pink are two of my favorites!
Wow nice Kyle!!
Great Amarantha, the more the gaudier. LOL! I have added in lime green too. If I could find a lot of plants that I like which bloom in royal purple, I am sure I would add it to the mix also.
Are you going to name your new seedling, Kyle? I wish you sold some of your own hybrids!
Kell, no name yet... still seeing how it handles the heat here, maybe by fall if it pans out.I have about 500 seedlings yet to bloom.
Kyle :-)
Very pretty Kyle. Sure glad to know you survived the bad storm. The news reports were ugly to watch. After we talked, the storm hit here. Lots of rain, but we didn't get the winds that you had. I hope your plants didn't take a bad hit.
I went outside after the storm there are trees down everywhere, roofs off of buildings, windows blown out and no electricity in most of the town. What a mess......**SIGH***......118 MPH straight line winds here.
Oh that sounds terrible. Glad you are OK.
500 seedlings to bloom! Sounds so exciting! I have said it before, you are such a lucky man Kyle!
Kyle, on the news last night, it said that Norwalk got 126 MPH winds. Maybe they meant to say Cummings or another town that got hit. You didn't say that you had bad damage, so I'm assuming things are going to be okay at your house. It isn't looking all that good outside yet. I've heard we are going to go back into the 90's for temps again. I guess it's hard to make me happy with the weather anymore. LOL! Take care.
What a year you have had Kyle. So glad to hear you are OK. I hope all your plants downtown survived and your plants at home are OK. Sounds like the type of storm that would tear up a greenhouse.
The greenhouse came thru ok!!! Not so most of the trees in town here. lots of downed trees, branches everywhere, the nieghbors behind me had part of the roof dissappear.Another chore to clean up.Had a few basket plants get mangled, afew hibiscus were tore up but not killed,so guess we dodged the real bullet!
Hi, I'm really needing some help in branching out as a hibiscus lover. I'm wanting to make plants from cuttings ... can anyone tell me how to do that?
Also, does anyone have any information for me on how to create my own hibiscus hybrids? I'm sooooo jealous of Kell and her gorgeous blooms! Kell - I'm going to have to ask you to come and hold my hand in the garden!! Ha ha, seriously though - anyone have any info for me?
THANKS!! :)
I Love the colors!!! Very Nice!!!
