Painted lady starting to bloom

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

She's got that mottled look as her white blooms turn to pink. Hope the heat doesn't fry her tomorrow when she'll be at her peak.

She is definitely on my "must have," but have no room for list. :) Can't wait to see your pictures at her peak!

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Very pretty! Look at that brug jungle!! I love it.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Nice picture Mary. Your brugs are so nice and green.

Nashville, TN(Zone 6b)

Beautiful!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gosh Mary you are so ahead of me. I need to kick my brugs into high gear! I do admit to neglecting them and concentrating on other plants but now I am missing their big blooms.

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

What yummy blooms! You must be thrilled!

Tyler, TX(Zone 8a)

Kell, I need to get a lot of work done in my yard and stop playing with the brugs. I have many beautiful beds that are calling to me.

WOW Mary, that would call to me too. LOL

Oh Joan, such a coincidence. I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were. I am so glad to see you. Your yard looks so great. I am jealous!

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Mary, that is one beautiful brug..I have to say your leaves are the deepest green...Judy

Tyler, TX(Zone 8a)

Picabo, those are Astilbe and I love them. They keep telling me I can't grow them here it is to hot but I just keep planting them and they just get bigger every year.

Mary, that is a beautiful bed and a lot easier to take care of. Your Painted Lady is beautiful also. I got her as soon as she came and she was well rooted and all but I took to good a care of her and lost her. Please show us some more of her.

Kell, thank you. I always check in to see what you are doing and how your flowers are growing. I hope you are feeling much better as time passes.
I have a new cross Serendipity X Orange Sunshine. It went from seed to blooming in 7 mo. Orange Sunshine Is going to have to be called a weed if it keeps growing so fast and blooming so young. Maggi is putting them in hanging baskets because they start blooming at 8"

The Astilbe is beautiful. Mine are about a foot tall. I thought it might be meadow sweet but haven't seen it in purple.

My brain is asleep I am leaving it with you Calif folks. Nite Nite

I have never seen Orange Sunshine, Joan. Sounds so great. We are all talking orange roses over on the Rose Forum. Orange is the color du jour. LOL

How nice your seedling flowered so early and flowers so short. Don't you love having one you grew from a baby that you love so much! Too cool having brugs in hanging baskets. I bet they really add to it.

Oh Betty, my brain is alway asleep lately. LOL

Mary has so many beautful brugs, all so happy!

Tyler, TX(Zone 8a)

Kell, here is Ouange Sunshine. She is brand new. The first picture is in the kitchen and you can see I had a hard time keeping her of the ground.
