So excited! Geneveive's first blooms.

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

During the end of 06 I purchased three little plants (about 12") - Geneveive, Velvet Rose and Miss Emily MacKenzie. This is Geneveive's first blooms, and I'm so excited, I just had to share :-)

Velvet Rose has just y-ed, and poor Miss Emily, I think, is going to be destined for the mulch pile...

A while ago, someone (I don't remember who) posted the coolest picture of a white brug bloom and (I think) called it Whipped Cream - I so liked that picture, I tried one of my own. Not as pretty as the original, but it's still kind of cool :-)

Hang on to MEM for a while longer she is slow growing and hard to root. Others may have had better luck with theirs.
I have got to have Geneveive she is great. What a beauty you have a winner in her. Joan
