Today is raining and dark outside.............yet everytime I take a look at plants, something else is blooming....these all came from Gary (Out of Africa)
This one is marked 'Midnight Flame' with a question mark......love Gary!!! The center is truly a bright yellow even if my camera doesn't do it justice...

This is marked a seedling.....never have had an ugly seedling from him

Oh, how I wish I had more room! Gotta think about moving some furniture out! hee hee ... we never use our dining room, wonder if I could get away with getting rid of the furniture in there and lining the walls with plant stands??!!

wanna hear something funny????????????? I told you that my kids said they would be back down in July to help make more room for stands........well, I can move the furniture out of my office with some help from someone.............I just ordered two more stands from The Container Store in Houston..................my friend, Betty Lou, is picking them up Saturday and we are going to meet for lunch halfway between Houston and here on Sunday.

I have to show you what I just did........dropped 'Rob's Slap Happy' (I don't think it was that plant anyway)......so now I am going to cut the neck down and reroot.....too funny!!!
The problem with having pretty plants is that I am totally worthless............don't have clean clothes, no groceries, etc.....
Yep .... I think Miss Gail has a regular Florist/Nursery right inside her home! And, she's the prettiest flower among them all!
Gail ... isn't it fun though? Most of the time I would rather sit amongst my plants and flowers than go shopping, and that's REALLY saying something, cause I LOVE to shop! Here's a picture of a Garden Sign I found when we were on vacation a few weeks ago: For me the message is so true! I just feel at peace when I am in a garden.

That is sooooooo true.....my family who lives in Taft doesn't understand how I can stay at home day after day from morn til night just planting away and playing on DG........
This is the best part of getting older.................what difference does it make whether I play garden all day???? No one is hollering for me...........no news is always good news.....

I have leaves all over this house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just waiting to see who wins bingo this month (LOL).......plus there are a couple of people I have promised to send minis to and haven't....................
That is the way I look at messed up plants..............oh my goodness, now I need to start some new leaves

Hey don't you love those chord square pots! I love those lil rascals cause your plants don't fall over so easy in them....and they'll fit in the tray much better than round ones.

I always keep them for new plants I have started when it is time to move up to a bigger size.......which is now!!!!
What I don't get done in a day now that I have plants and have found DG is criminal, but I'm having fun! LOL All of your new plants are gorgeous!! I really like Karen.

Woo Hoo I did it, my first link worked! LOL I just received Party Girl from Brennan's Orchids yesterday and it looks just like the picture I linked to and like your first post above. Yep, it came in bloom! I haven't resized my picture of it yet but I'll get to it sometime this weekend. Right now I have to get off here and get to work! :))

good, jannich.........i will tell you what i told rain........don't send me anything......i can't start steps from leaves...........i will send you a lot of them..........you just get them started and let me have a few.....I am determined that all packages will go out on Monday or tuesday of next week............period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so glad you told me that you can grow leaves of streps...........i do great with av leaves.....not so lucky with streps....
